How SMS Environmental is Leading the Charge with 24% Female Workforce in a Male-Dominated Industry
SMS Environmental, a leader in the water hygiene sector, is making waves by exceeding industry standards for female representation in the workforce. With a 24% female workforce, the company is setting a new standard for diversity and inclusivity in the water industry.
Recognising the need for change, many organisations within the water industry are actively working towards creating a more inclusive environment. By hiring more diverse talent, promoting diversity and inclusion initiatives, the sector is shifting in the right direction.
Initiatives such as Women in Water and other diversity-focused programs have been implemented to increase representation of women and underrepresented minorities in the sector.SMS Environmental has surpassed the industry average by having 5% more female employees, including women in key roles from entry level to senior leadership.
