Today SMS Environmental launch a campaign to provide hope and comfort to the vulnerable and isolated in the communities we serve, during the social restrictions in place to fight the Coronavirus pandemic.

As key workers, we are still working in many of these premises to ensure safe water delivery within homes, we have been moved by some of the loneliness we are witnessing. As we already have in place the necessary precautions and lines of communication within the housing schemes, we wanted to do more.
To ensure as many of the most isolated understand there are still people thinking of them by the simple receiving of a message, we appeal to our staff, customers and connections to encourage your children to take part in producing letters/pictures and we'll make sure they are delivered to the residents of the care schemes we help maintain.
Your child's messages could be about anything which will help readers stay connected, how they feel, what they have done this week or what they are looking forward to doing. Simply send your letters, either directly to our headquarters in Oxfordshire or email copies to community@sms-environmental.co.uk and we’ll get them to the communities closest to where you live.
Over the next couple of weeks we will create copies of what we receive and publish as many as we can so as many of the residents as possible see what has been written. They'll be posted direct, put on community message boards and shared in as many ways as possible.
Spread the word. It would be great to have schools and local communities involved, if you could get your children's classmates involved over the coming weeks then all the better.
