SMS Environmental Is Officially a Most Loved Workplace®
SMS Environmental has officially been certified as a Most Loved Workplace®, backed by the research and analysis of Best Practice Institute (BPI).
Most Loved Workplace® validation provides the most comprehensive look at workplace sentiment for organisations today. Essentially this means that a Most Loved Workplace® holds on average the happiest, and most satisfied employees.
As a Most Loved Workplace®, we are among the companies that show a real commitment to respecting and appreciating their workforce. We are driven by people that do what it takes to get the job done, giving their best effort and approaching everyday with a positive attitude.
Mike Crook, Chief Executive Officer
We have been awarded the certification because of our commitment to taking care of our people, building personal connections, and creating a friendly, family-like atmosphere.
We are delighted to be certified as a Most Loved Workplace®, and to officially be in consideration for Newsweek’s inaugural 2023 Top 100 Most Loved Workplace®. This recognition is a direct reflection of our people’s feedback, and highlights our people-first ethos in creating a respectful, caring and supportive workplace.
David Clift, Chief People Officer
SMS Environmental became certified as a Most Loved Workplace® based on its scores on the Love of Workplace Index™, which surveyed employees on various elements around employee satisfaction and sentiment - including the level of respect, collaboration, support, and sense of belonging they feel inside the company.
Upon surveying our people, Most Loved Workplace® discovered that SMS Environmental is so much more than just a water hygiene company. We are humans with unrivalled expertise, and incredible leadership within the industry.
We stand proudly behind our exceptional people, products and services, with quality that exceeds expectations. Whilst being certified is a great achievement, we will continue to improve upon our success, and vow to maintain our staff’s satisfaction.
I started Most Loved Workplaces out of inspiration from my community of people who consciously place love for their employees at the centre of their business.
Louis Carter, Founder and CEO of BPI, Social/Organisational Psychologist, Thought Leader, Entrepreneur, and Author
Backed by BPI, in its original research that created MLW criteria, Most Loved Workplaces® surveyed more than 175 companies across various sectors, and more than 3,000 executives around the world. They found that productivity rises as employee sentiment increases, with 94% of responders saying they did three to four times more work for a company they loved and 95% saying they stayed at companies they loved three to four times longer. Most Loved Workplaces® certification is the most valid method to determine employee experience and recognise a great workplace.
