Cleaning & decontamination of your premises will be carried out using best practice, using an effective combination of proven chemicals and cleaning agents, room fogging and specific touch-point surface cleaning techniques. The following reports will be supplied and documented against the appropriate standards.

Fogging

This is a practical decontamination method, which supplements our more traditional spray and wipe method to ensure not only surfaces but the ambient air in any room is as infection-free as possible. Once the size of the room is calculated, parameters can be set on the machine and fogging can get underway killing pathogenic bacteria, fungi, and viruses and leaving your premises as safe for use as possible.

Touch-point Surface Cleaning

We will focus on areas of high use, giving specific additional attention to the cleaning/decontamination of all regular touch-points in your building. All premises will be assessed on an individual basis but frequently touched surfaces are likely to include the following:

Doorknobs, plates & handles
Handrails
Light switches
Desktops & work surfaces
Computer keyboards / Mouse
Telephone equipment
Chairs
Sinks & kitchen surfaces
Toilets Flushers
Taps and Soap Dispensers
Water fountains/Vending machines

Personal protective equipment

The safety of our staff is of utmost importance, PPE as specified by our RAMS and the risk assessment will be worn by operatives at all times, including full face covering masks, chemical resistant gloves, body suits and shoe covers as a minimum. Furthermoreat least one operative is designated to observe and check the decontamination operative(s) for any signs of contamination throughout the task.

Waste

All physical waste from the cleaning process (gloves, overalls, clothes etc.) will be double bagged and labelled (SMS Task ID and Date). These will be stored safely and securely for 72 hours before being thrown away in a regular rubbish bin.
