COVID-19 - Reducing Risk from Hot Cold Water Systems Prior to the Reopening of Buildings
Hosted by North East Councils Legionella Focus Group (NECLFG) and supported by a number of other organisations including SMS Environmental Ltd, we took part in and helped organise a successful webinar that continues to receive excellent feedback from attendees and those that have watched the full recording.
A period of low use may have allowed water to stagnate, which provides the ideal conditions for Legionella bacteria to proliferate, and this will pose a significant health risk upon re-occupation unless managed correctly.
The panel discussed the current guidance, the application of law, the appropriate measures/plans that can be put in place and most importantly respond to questions raised from the attendees on the subject matter.
Event supported by:
Eversheds Sutherland, PJM-HS CONSULTING LTD, LHC, Consortium Procurement
